So this poison spewed forty days and forty nights?

I'm seeing blame here placed squarely on the heads of members of the national media, essentially saying, if the media had given a damn, this poison would have halted. I fail to see how that is any kind of tolerable excuse. This is the sort of thing you're expected to know because you're paying attention.

The politics isn't the point. It's that a term one begins using as a result of political and social pressure is politically correct, and the term that was replaced by the new term, is not. To state otherwise, as this NY Times executive has, is to turn reality on its head.

By the way, I didn't stop reading news. I was still nursing a cold. Hard to post on all the important things I read when I have a lack of energy. I'll try to keep it up and at least put the important things here.
